I assume the girl's penpal was herself, or more like her insane self. idk what the other childhood friend, Haku's, role is though.

This feels like Higurashi, but less interesting. The fist two chapters are fairly long, but the events seem like they could have been covered in one.

@sterven It's not yandere, the girl seems to have been possessed by the one sending those letters, as she became a "yandere" the moment she received that last letter about "losing someone". Unless it's a type of schizofrenia where the girl is sending letters to herself with double personalities.

To early to tell what the fuck is wrong with her. You might be right about her being possessed or some other supernatural shit, but in my eyes she started out as a sweet innocent girl who liked the mc then turned brutal/homicidal in the snap of a finger classic definition of a yandere.
