I like this manga a lot. It kind of reminds me of the opposite of WataMote? How the guy thinks he's a bad person, but he's not really that bad.
Also a map of the town 80 years prior does actually sound like it could be fun. Although I guess a bunch of teens wouldn't want to admit something like that.

@RangoBongo Like I said, it stops being painful. It also only works because it was painful from the start. The series can legitimately make you cry (in a good way) at at least one part simply because you can recognize how far the main character has come.
