They say that people who are more compatible generally like or at least aren't grossed out by the other person's smells. I'm not talking about farts or anything weird but just generally how a person smells.
Plus it was obvious at this point he likes her and that's going to make weird things like smells more tolerable.

I didn't get it my first time reason but the reason she's at the nurses is she's having period cramps, not stomach pains. That's the reason she pauses "… " before saying "My stomach hurts."
She's not being seductive, she's cramping.
