Yamada's/Ichikawa's interaction in the extra is more vague in Japanese.
In English we don't have anything that is the same level of vagueness. AFAIK it's either full vague ("Is that okay?" which implies nothing) or mostly obvious, but not necessarily direct ("You will?"). In Japanese the implication is "Is that okay (you coming over to become my husband)?"
