Fixed that. I didn't do these chapters, and they were scanlated many years ago, so it took a little digging.

FWIW, IIRC, the last chapter is #110.

From this point on, I will be using tankobon raws, rather than the relatively low quality scans I downloaded from the internet back in 2010. I've had the books for years now, so I might as well make this series look a little better.

Well this a rather arkward situation. Manga wise its old but still entertaining to read, but the relatonships are really arkward.

Agreed, for now. Hiroshi has got to be epitome of the pathetic MC. He's a genius with robotics, but in human relations a complete idiot. Just what the human Marie sees in him is anybody's guess. Apart from his physical resemblance to Mamoru.

Does he level up before the end of this series? Is this series about him, or about Android Marie? Look at the title for a hint. Twenty-eight more chapters to go!

Somehow, I unexpectedly enjoy reading this. Thanks @rpapo for translating these.

Perhaps I shouldn't look down upon old manga. Did anyone knows other old but gold manga?

In the ancient days, this was released in English (the anime, anyway) as "My Angel Marie" iirc. I'm sure I remember it in an old Animerica ad.

@yukiwa - The anime had a grand total of three episodes. The first two episodes corresponded roughly to the contents of manga volumes 1 and 2. The third episode went rogue, and had nothing to do with the manga except the characters. I found all three episodes in MP4 format close to ten years ago.

Ancient times? That was only 24 years ago, more or less.

@rpapo It was the Dark Ages, back when we were building pyramids and painting pics of our waifus on the walls of King Tut's tomb. We would take breaks from drinking our mead and read photocopies of the latest Japanimation downloaded via obelisk. The neanderthals ran a sweet laser disc smuggling network, those suckers could always get us the good stuff. Shakespeare was going to collaborate with us on a fanfic but ragequit when Julius Caesar insisted that Rei was a better waifu than Asuka. We found Michaelangelo's doujin collection and blackmailed him into drawing Pokemon fan art.

@yukiwa - Well said. Where's the "like" button around here!? But as for ancient times, I watched both Astro Boy and Kimba when I was a kid. On black and white television over the air.

While i like the overall concept, this is one of the manga that piss me off with the way the author wanted it to go.
