The upgrade she picked is probably just the dive 15 meters and nothing else
 
I feel like I missed something, did miss robot wife accept the gift on their behalf or not? She did right? Or did we get tricked that she chose a cheaper upgrade?
 
She argued that as his wife she was entitled to half the property, ripped the catalogue in half and gave him half. She gave him the half with the replacement new Minas while she kept the half for upgrades. What upgrade she then picked is anyone's guess. The Mina from the early chapters would probably pick the 4 arm upgrade for cooking efficiency. The Mina from the chapters after that would probably get the Mina DX upgrade. The most recent Mina is probably interested in more sensors and a soft face so she can kiss.

But yeah. She accepted the gift for herself/on their behalf.

imagine if the little sister finds out she can have her very own "Mina-kun". Her "dreams" will no longer be dreams!
 
The manufacturers are people of culture with the "gender change possible" and squishy add ons for androids
 
I too would be worried about her changing. She's perfect as is. Hopefully the upgrade she chose is something like a longer lasting battery or more complex sensors.
