Heeeeyyyy, just found this while scrolling. It seems it has been translated already. Just want to thank for the translators for their hardwork in translating!! I'll enjoy reading this one.

We Were There might have been the best shoujo I’ve ever read, period. The premise just screams classic shoujo and that might deter some from continue reading it. However, as one commenter desperately pleads one-third through the manga, “more drama oh God just end it” - it got real better. You might not read my ramblings below, but please give this manga a try. You won’t regret it.
It’s a heartwarming shoujo manga with the most accurate and detailed depiction of romance I’ve ever read. My hearts pumped so fast and I held my breath for so long through so many parts of the manga I have no idea how I’m even still alive. 9/10
The comedy is on point, the romance is pure and natural, the art can be unnerving for some but I thought it was really good and even added to the comedic effects. The characters are well-established, they all got their own two sides, their own drama and their bonds with the leading characters felt really genuine and heartfelt. Which leads me to what arguably might be the best thing about this manga—
The love triangle. It’s so rare to see the love triangle actually be a... triangle. Most of the times, it’s just a line, with a rival popped in briefly and then back to a line. In this manga however, the two boys that form one-third of the triangle are childhood friends who have been through thick and thin. Their feelings for the female lead blossomed directly through the actions of each other, all their lives are changed because of one another and their struggles are ignited and supported by everyone they hold dear to. You can’t help but support all their struggles and hope that all their love will succeed in the end.
Maybe it wasn’t the *best* part about the manga. Maybe the interesting and well-developed characters were. I’ve heard some said that the male lead made some stupid decisions, but honestly, his thoughts and actions were all genuine and paved with good intentions. You’ll probably berate some of his actions, but at the end of it all, they came from a golden heart and you can’t help but at least understand them. Hell, even the characters inside the manga know it, this is just proof of how well-written the story was.

This manga is so heartbreaking but also beautiful. It's sweet and nostalgic and dwells on regret and loss and also the joy and pains of falling in love.
It actually really makes me wonder what terrible things the author must have gone through, and if she's okay to be able to write things that hurt so much.
The art is so beautiful too, and my only gripes are that there was just too much drama... Honestly, I like a bit of angst, but at one point, it really did just become one horrible thing after another. There were also a LOT of common tropes and clichés, but it's a shoujo so...
Also from another comment, I expected the drama to get more interesting 1/3 in, but it just became more painful

I think that's where things really kick off.And I had serious second lead syndrome, Yano might have had a tough life but I couldn't help but want Nana to move on and end up with Takeuchi...
But all in all, I loved it
I would definitely recommend this manga.
