Huh it says she didn't go to the boys school. Reread it. It shows her graduating highschool in a girls uniform, and the line says she would of been popular if she HAD gone to the boys school. She didn't, it's implied she transitioned and became an office girl.

I'm glad Marika didn't end up dating Parou, really I read all this just to make sure that wasn't the case and I'm glad it was a happy ending, and that she didn't throw all her progress away to go to an all-boys school
