If you guys go back to chapter 1 when Minami asked Hiroki for advice on how to confess to Haruko, you can see that the author planned this romance for a long time. Hiroki's expression, the paneling choices and her advice were all clear hints. It felt weird when I first read it, but it all makes sense when she was revealed to be Glenn.
