Naruto was okay-ish, but this is lame. Both Naruto and Sasuke ended up being the most powerful ninjas of the present world, but now they have been nerfed because the script needs to.

Besides, the art is not good and the fighting scenes are just the same drawings over and over. The main antagonist just throw some kicks around and makes short work of Naruto and Sasuke, whose can't even land a punch on him.

Wtf doesn't Naruto uses the Gudou Damas like before? Why Sasuke doesn't use the Rinnegan's powers?

If you read Naruto beforehand, Boruto is a incredibly frustrating Manga to read. And, to make things worse, it is a monthly release.

Ok having read up to chapter 51 and as someone that read and liked Naruto, this manga is really frustrating, since it doesn't do Naruto and Sasuke justice.
I'll leave the explanation in spoiler tags as it will spoil parts of Naruto and Boruto up to chapter 51.

At the end of Naruto, Naruto and Sasuke are left as the by far most powerful shinobi, even when they were barely able to control their new powers. Now they are adults and have learned how to use their abilities. But they aren't powerful. They are nerfed into oblivion because the script demands it. They aren't even close to their strength against Kaguya except for a short period against the buffed Momoshiki, even though they should be much more powerful now.
Atm they are nothing more than glorified punching bags. Naruto gets a new form (ch51), but it'll kill him, which feels like a pathetic attempt to create drama by a writer that realised that he nerfed them too much.
The anime has become decent over the last few weeks. It has its own canon. Naruto and Sasuke are still nerfed, but not as bad so far. The most annoying thing is that Sasuke is out of chakra after using one to two abilities which doesn't make sense since he fought for several days without getting his chakra restored while being a lot weaker. Additionally the writers forgot that Sasuke can use other Rinnegan abilities than teleporting, but they also forgot that the Sharingan can see chakra, so....

So in short: If you liked the Naruto manga or anime, you might enjoy short nostalgia moments of seeing the characters grown up.
But these moments quickly fade when you realise that they (manga and anime) basically are an insult to the characters of Naruto and Sasuke. Additionally the writers often have temporary amnesia of parts of the lore.
I really hope that the writers of the manga and anime somehow manage to come back and actually do the characters justice.

This is not a Master piece, but is really fun if you don't take it that seriously and is a really fast read.
The development in the Anime is a little bit better, but will take forever to finish so i would most likely only watch after it finishes so you can skip what you consider to much bullshit, I'm to old for Boruto so i will not say that is bad or anything is just that i'm not the Target...

This is actually pretty good, i give this a solid 7/10 . And i watched and read OG Naruto.
The anime is shit tho, really didn't do the manga's justice (ಠ,_｣ಠ).

@Rel_ Yep. That's why I guess the two authors convinced each other to trade ideas. Baryon mode can sense things even more than Sage mode, in which case just like UI where ones can avoid any hit and can land any hit.

@dexdoujinmanga that's definitely not the point of baryon mode tho, the form is basically just a power up on everything with the decreasing life span hax and a kamikaze move. So it's still not similar from UI. And they definitely didn't trade ideas (on an agreement with both party). I've never seen any manga that's like that

manga is better than the anime. anime got so many ep and its not shown kawaki yet i think not sure i have to look it up last time i heard anything about the anime was like half a year ago so im really behind on boruto anime.
also the anime wouldve been better if it was released in seasons like attack on titan too bad they didnt now it just makes naruto look bad.
