Botsuraku Yotei Nanode, Kajishokunin wo Mezasu - Vol. 3 Ch. 12

Punching someone you didnt know, and didnt say what is the reason is very very rude

Guess what! Vein is so tall, he could give our MC a leg up to peek over the wall. ?

@Operatix that's just the typical manga pervertness and isekai wish fulfullment all in one (Iris interested on MC and being tsun about it). Except it seems the author doesn't know what he's doing so he had to bring up a stupid thing like a cabaret or some shit and make the MC dense³.

Wow, this is probably the most offputting "spy on girls in the bath" instance I've ever seen an a Japanese story of any kind. The MC doesn't even seem to get any satisfaction out of trying it, it's like he just has this inhuman compulsion to be a sex predator and betray any trust the annoying girl has put in him. It's not cute, it's just gross.

@DexHaunter
A sad world we live in, MC started with knowing almost everything, and suddenly, he just a cliche dumbass dense mother*.

@ZeeVee Oh calm down, your SJW is showing. Trying to peek on the girls in a bath has been a super common comedy trope of anime/manga for DECADES.

@Aereus:

A. Go play with yourself, assuming that's not your default activity anyway. Using "SJW" as a pejorative, at this point, is as much a giveaway of being a sad basement-dweller as whining about how women never date "nice guys", or talking about "cucks" and "betas". Only someone utterly without hope thinks that way.

B. I never said it wasn't a comedy trope, I said this was the most worthless example of it ever. It doesn't even feel, from the way it's written, like he's getting any thrill out of it — it's like he just feels obligated to act despicable because he's in those circumstances. (Or, to be more accurate, it feels like the editors said to the author "make sure you hit every cliche possible" and the author didn't even feel like it was worth arguing.)

@ZeeVee I like how you call out someone for using SJW as pejorative and then using basement-dweller as pejorative in the same sentence.

this is pissing me off, in the LN he was head over heels for Eliza.....

@boag I think he still is. He's clearly friendzoned Iris and spends time with her to ensure she's happy aka gets to the "good ending". Unfortunately for him, I'm sure part of the drama will be he's been too nice/useful to Iris and she's going to develop feelings for him. His apprehension towards Eliza IMHO is partly because the "bad end" involves her, and from the game he believes she's just a rotten person. It's readily apparent to him in real interactions though, that she isn't a bad person at all, she's merely prideful and has trouble being honest with others as a defense mechanism to her fragile self-esteem.
