I don't really see why it was necessary to mute his voice so others can't hear him when he's naked. Also seems pointless for him to continue being invisible even after he put on his underwear, since he's not totally naked anymore. Would the magic still activate if he was taking a piss but still clothed? I'm guessing there's a time limit, or depends on how many layers he puts on before he becomes visible again. I'm way overthinking this though.
