Overpowered characters' stories usually sucks since they tend to be very generic, if you read one then you know how the story will go on a hundred other.

@Xystus Either he is the hero, de-aged, he is family of the hero, or she basically kidnapped him and the statues were based on assumptions of what he would look like grown up. Since he seems to be what is keeping her sane; which will have complications later, since it is obvious she won't like the idea of him dying to old age or anything like that.
