Boukensha License wo Hakudatsu Sareta Ossan Dakedo, Manamusume ga Dekita no de Nonbiri Jinsei wo Oukasuru - Vol. 4 Ch. 12.3

@mage_goo

I wouldn't consider the claim that they're stronger than the mc as reliable. Wasn't that something he thought back when he was cursed and didn't know it? Without the curse, being able to use 3 skills at once while the hero was the hero for being able to do 2, and having all the abilities he gained to keep up with them despite the curse, I'm betting he's stronger than them. If not the whole group, atleast the hero.

Anyone think that the "hero" Alan might have cursed some of the other members, too?
Or does everyone think that the hero party makes losses simply because they now lack Douglas's multi-purpose support magic?

@Meridis well, here's the page where he made the claim.

i don't think he can really experiment with his skill when he's cursed, i mean, can't really do an extensive experiment on your skill when each usage cuts down your max life.
so i believe he's talking about the time before he's cursed.

and when he's talking about hero simultaneous-skill usage, i don't think he's talking about semi-instant simultaneous skill use like he's doing right now.
i think he's talking about prolonged simultaneous skill usage. so the hero probably able to channel heal on himself, put wind barrier, and then stomp through the battlefield like a walking fortress.
then again, our MC has done pretty much the same thing in the assassin battle, so yeah.

Were they stealing his magic somehow with that cursed ring? And roiding up with it?

@Talh

Either the stats were shared somewhat across the party, or they got overly reliant on the heroes amped up form, somewhat like that ultimate tank manga, that the hero's only 'strength' was spamming one skill.

If the ring turned out to be a curse that stole Douglas ability for them to use freely, and Douglas be like "imma forgave y'all" when he met them .. Idk what to do.

So...is this somehow become a trend where the hero party kicked out their pillar of support and the party slowly crumbling down?

@DarkEboreus - I like this explanation, but wonder if it was other stats (like HP or luck?) being drained. All the same, it was stupid of them to drive him away if he was some sort of source or shield, since if he dies, they lose that source. The smarter thing to do would have been to retire him a hero, set him up comfortably with honors, and continue to leech off him until he succumbed or they found a replacement.

For being am-moralistic opportunistic jerks, they were pretty dumb about it.

That was an amazing disguise, akso, I enjoy the historical accuracy. He looks like a genuine 16th-century Dutch Burgher.

this chapter started really abruptly, kind of like it is a reply to something. Did tl forget a page before it?

I am thinking that it was Edmund the sage guy who put a curse on Douglass.
