It got old by ch2. If anything is surprising, its that the mangaka has depicted the plot so well that nearly all of us can see the pattern with just 2-3 chapters.
If it's not old to you already, I recommend reading some JUMP serializations, its good training. Though, the pattern this manga will follow is fully clarified by the description as well, which doesn't help its case.
