I wouldn't think so. I've witnessed a lot of hentai, including the beast-girl varieties. It rarely ever goes more than a discrete triangle. You need to start branching into deliberate specialty fetish territory before women get depicted with sprawling undergrowth.

I mean, the problem here is that if you go into actual porn/hentai you need to change the lens. Most porn actresses also have that "triangular tuft", or directly completely shaved, unless you actuall search for the Hairy tag. Makes sense, too, considering the profession.
But while I'm no expert, I very much doubt most women (normal women, not engaged in sex business of any sort), fall in those groups, triangular/100% shaven. Maybe they trim to keep it "classy"? But not that much.
Same for hentai, I'd say. It's "nice", I guess, to have it trimmed or the triangular tuft, but simply cause it allows the author to show the actual vagina. And I mean, it's hentai, we want to see it, no? (or nvm cause censorship. Fuck censorship).

Therefore, as mentioned, it'd probably be weird for her to have it "trimmed naturally" (let alone a triangular tuft) when she has such a dense (and more or less unkempt) hairdo AND fluffy tail.
