Boukensha ni Naritai to Miyako ni Deteitta Musume ga S Rank ni Natteta - Vol. 3 Ch. 13

@Petnavis This is the same meat-brained argument people use for torture despite the fact that it's also been shown to be ineffective. Sorry, but I'm going to believe the people who study this rather than the ones who have numerous motivations to employ it regardless. Your idea of stats is "x million people have used this," which doesn't actually prove shit, nice try though.

If you too were triggered by my critique of the fictional punishment in your favorite manga, please, just don't bother replying. I don't care to humor any more of these mostly lazy or irrelevant counterarguments. I'm going to sleep now and will not be wasting any more of my time reading or replying to the responses from this thread.

Tells the one who was triggered so much in this thread that he argued endlessly over it.
I don't have an opinion on the subject but i find this very funny x)

Really great chapter, makes you wonder how far bel could've gotten if he wasn't so unlucky with encountering that probably demon lord so early in his career, then again it would mean that we wouldn't have our current father-daughter dynamic which I consider to be a greater shame.

As a webnovel reader, couldn't be happier with how they illustrated things, from the fight to the emotions shown by both bel and angie. Definitely excited for the next arc to come.

Thank you for the chapter translator~

So this guy encountered the final boss on the very first town and somehow managed to survive? What a chad

Can any LN reader tell me if that shadow beast that got the dad’s leg is a demon lord? How does it compare to the one that Angie beat?

Really good chapter. he basically survived agains a creature one level above a demon lord, and worried if his daughter would survive agains it.
So it's safe to assume he would be a S rank if he wasn't unlucky in the beggining of his journey

How can he be so naïve... He's clearly stronger than an S-rank adventurer... and he's well past his prime with a missing leg...
How can he still think that he's of normal strength 😮

@aFFi She was clearly pulling her punches, the moment she got serious he got wrecked.
At best he's a top A ranker but he has no chance against a S.

Based on how the artist has been making this, chances are that he was underestimating Angie till the end and that's why he lose to her, she became serious but he didn't got serious enough.

@reu Bel literally auto-reacted because Ange did the same exact charge she always did and she one-upped him with a feint. She probably was pulling punches but saying he got wrecked because of one instance where he sees her finally be serious and never saw that side? Say that after they both spar more in serious mode and he actually loses all the time on an even playing field.

@mommunism could you please link the research you are basing that on? I don't mean just any research that says positive researchment is in general more effective I know those exist but one that warrants making statements as strong as yours. Because I believe you are exaggerating the research.

though this is prolly more obvious, but i have the feeling that he really was attacked by a high level demon around when he started and he mistaken it as a random monster. In reality he is A-rank levels of power but undermines himself a lot.
