Oof people are salty with this, but personally I think this is perfect. This manga is one of the funniest genderbender comedy (yeah, I love Prunus Girl as much as anyone but this is waaaaaay funnier)

So the ending is that he now is focusing on their friendship and so he disregards any feelings of love, although page 40 shows he still has attraction.
