My guess, so far is that the Assam princess in Krishna that is trying to involve them in a civil war is a plant/setup from Orlando. Try to get Athens to waste time and resources stabilizing Assam and crushing Krishna and allowing Orlando to seize Krishna and possible chunks of Assam as well while playing the hero.
