this got a bit of good war background story, a bit of that shoujo love story(or maybe too much?), this got that feeling of shounen manga that similar to that ninja series that have kids (now?), but the most important thing this have a massive robot in action! that's what I like.
back then i waited this anime series like that waiting G unicorn series too and that one code geass boku no akito . . .
too bad the anime no more and the manga pace is so slow, maybe after death I will see this series ending?
I hope the ending for the romance not like that G 00 series or that eureka 7, that the mc and fmc by the end of series became different species with each other, one human and the other are non human.

oh yeah that knight & magic got a really good design of mecha too, but sadly the mc are that on OP troupe isekai thing.
and I hope this will not be like that gurren lagann ending too, because if it does I'm just gonna find the author in the afterlife and beat him up to pieces. I swear that gurren lagann author are gonna have a hard time in his tabs in the afterlife

Took me years to realise… I'd need to check the raws to confirm, but his fake name when spying in Assam, and whereby Prederica addresses him, is Hodr's owl's name.
The owl is called Gram in chapter 1. Rygart's spy alias is Ghulam. Both are written グラム ("guramu") in Japanese. Several translator changes in the years must have obscured the connection.

They can build amazing giant robots but can't invent a "power storage device" i.e. batteries to store magic juice so anyone can use every appliance or giant robots easily. The idea of a storage never seems to click with these smart people somehow. How do I carry all these fruits and vegetables? With my bare hands? Ok, sounds right. Bags, containers, storage devices? Nah, just hands.
What's odd is that they do understand the idea of storage. The throwing knives and nun chucks does have a storage device so it's not like they're foreign to the idea of storing things in a container. You know what would be convenient? Storing huge amounts of power to be use for a......... long range weapon. That way any idiot can shoot a long range weapon, lowering the requirement and increasing the potency of any army. Why stop there, why not store bulks of power so it can be use in a rapid firing weapon like machine guns.
It's so simple and yet the Author just ignores it and hope nobody noticed it. I DID Author, you can't fool my chuunibyou's ass, ha ha ha.

the magic here is interesting. it seems less like normal magic and more just quartz manipulation
