To all the proofreaders and typesetters out there, please stop using the phrase "yesterday night." It's not a phrase that I've ever heard a real person say, ever, in my many decades as a native English speaker. The proper term is "last night" or, alternatively but not as acceptable, "yesterday evening." This error has been used by many scanlating teams, just like that erroneous phrase, "I'll send you home" instead of "I'll take you home."

@jagfanbb I'm not British, but my siblings and I called our mother Mummy.

My biggest pet peeve with Japanese to English translations might just be the "I'll send you home" phrase. If they meant, "I'll call a cab, put you in it, pay for it and have it take you home (by yourself)" then, sure, that phrase would be appropriate, but I've never seen it used in that context. I don't know, but I suppose that, in Japanese, "I'll send you home" and "I'll take you home" may be written the same but they don't mean the same in English.

@FredFriendly fair enough. Never heard non-British people use Mum but it is a big world.

I've heard "I'll send you home." but only in like the taxi example you mentioned. It's really weird to use it as a way to say you'll escort someone home.
