Some of his other shit was semi excusable as just general shitty behavior, but once you actively try to harm a 1 year old, there really is no going back. And you can't really force someone to go to behavioral therapy. Its up to them to identify if what they are doing is a problem and actively try to change it. The dude thinks he is 100% in the right here so therapy would simply be ineffective. If you aren't open to change in the slightest, it doesn't work.
