Buddha Cafe - Ch. 104 - Course

If she was a serious practitioner like her brother doesn't she come back to earth after achieving Buddha-nature and becoming a Bodhisattva in the Pure Land? It'll be interesting to see if the author decides to pursue that.

It feels like the author is pushing the sister problem a bit too much. It would've been a good feel moment if he stopped before mentioning his sister, or at least be a little bit indirect.

As far as I understand, becoming Boddhisatva would take more than one reincarnation (according to more than one sect) and intention to become one. And apparently most would just reincarnate after period in Pure Land. However, I am not sure if author means Jōdo Shinshū or Jōdo-shū sect (probably the first) - there appears to be doctrical differences...

Fuck, you're making me cry mr author.
It's as the quotes go "the brightest smiles hide the darkest pasts" and "the brightest smiles hide the deadliest cries".
