As funny as these dorks' shenanigans are, it's nice to see that this manga never fails to explain things about Buddhism in Japan. I feel a bit proud for recgnizing terms such as the Perfection of Wisdom sutras, or the short and long variants of the Heart of Great Perfect Wisdom Sutra (aka the Heart Sutra).
