I kinda like that our "bad guy" only wanted to protect Kai, and was glad to let him go to good hands

Granted, the whole "taking him away with no prior notice" thing wasn't cool, but still.

@BasilD We dont know that Konyuu was the one who took Kai away, or wrote the letter.

Also Kai gave Konyuu a note before that said he was coming home for New Years, and the bread maker stuff seemed like it came from Kai too. So I actually think that he left for home at least mostly on his own, but his insecurity made Konyuu want to test them.
