Edit: Curiosity got the better of me, and I looked into the dates! Tokyo was announced as the venue for the 2020 Olympics sometime in 2013. While this manga was published in 2017. Hindsight's really interesting :))

dude!!!! Even if it's the same genre, how can you mix gundam with evangelion?! One is an otaku for Buddha statues and the other is a perfect fail of an otaku!!!!
And the ironic thing is that we are reading about them in a MANGA!!!!!

Back in 2017 when I was in Japan, there were a lot of commercials hyping up Olympics 2020. Advertisements everywhere and large company putting up banners. Kinda sad that they've been waiting long only to be crushed by corona.
