Bugs causing missing elements:fixed:

This was mentioned in the BUG thread, but I wanted to mention it here in support since it's not an issue related to a single user.
Like others have mentioned, the EYE icon indicating read chapters is missing.

For MYSELF, not only are those missing, the SETTINGS COG is missing, so that I cannot toggle hentai on after I cleared cookies and cache (shouldn't that setting be available within the general settings area?)

Also, certain images won't load, even if I can load them in a separate window. None of the images showing text options are loading, nor is the SUPPORT kitten image on the main forum page.

Caches and history have been cleared.

Definitely, because this issue didn't pop up after I closed and opened my browser.
I was actively browsing MD when it started happening on different new tabs. Problem wasn't on older tabs until I refreshed the page.
Just as an FYI. Firefox works fine, but Safari is missing elements.

Nope. Nothing changed.
Like I said, this issue happened WHILE I was in the middle of using the MangaDex site.
At first it was just the end of the chapter notification button was missing, but now there are a number of visual UI elements not loading.
Like the button labels on the navigation pop-out to the side of the manga.

which browser are you using? any extensions?

I'm using Safari and the only extension is Adblock Plus, and it was around midnight EST, I guess.
Even though I have Adblock, Magadex.org is whitelisted.

Normally deleting cache would help, but it doesn't seem like it in your situation
Some other site also says that toggling airplane mode on and off helps too

I'm on a MacBook Pro, not an iPhone. And this issue crept in WHILE I was browsing MagaDex, and I'm not the only one having this issue.
This isssue is also reported on in the BUGS forum as well.

I would have repiled sooner, but the notification balloon is missing.

unfortunately i dont know how i can test it myself with safari, i dont have any apple device near me.

@Steelbuck does it also happen when you're logged out?
What you can do is generate a HAR file with your browsers developer console. Ideally when you're logged out so it wont contain your session ID. Here is a guide: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204410413-Generating-a-HAR-file-for-troubleshooting

Well we figured out what the issue is (outdated browsers not supporting Brotli content encoding), will be fixed sooner or later

If you were having this issue I would implore you to use a browser that has been updated in the last 3 or 4 years

I do understand that iOS users are in an unfortunate situation here though
