I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be amused or repulsed by Eita. On one hand, I feel like he's comedic relief, on the other hand I'm seriously hate his inferior-hero complex.
 
@Meo I couldn't imagine a creepy dude like him would ever last long on an actual team. His whole character is just gross.

At least in Daiya no Ace the MCs rival is a normal dude lol.
 
LMAO am I the only one that thinks its funny when a serious character thinks he got everything planned out and he thinks his strategy worked out but in the end it didn't?

Why the fuck did Eita slide in headfirst? For a pop-up nonetheless.

Not only it’s dangerous for a pitcher to do, it was wholly unnecessary. Is he a drama king or something?
 
I still Remember when i hated Furuya from daiya no ace .... Now we have this guy that makes furuya a normal rival eita hes creepy oh dear
 
@redgun14 Furuya at least was introduced to the reader from the start and established as Sawamura's rival.

This though... I'm sure it's meant to be taken seriously but it smacks of unintentional parody to me.
 
DnA's author and the story itself tend to be more normal and realistic, making it a hit like haikyuu. Unlike here, the story's more daring to give off unrealistic scenarios and characters sorta like KnB, but author gives us more 1D characters just because, and a rivalry that only exists to give the MC more spotlight.
 
Furuya is way better character than eita lol he was introduced early for his amazing fastballs and he’s not a creep like eita
