Bungo - Vol. 14 Ch. 132 - Settled

I'll leave the statistics for Eita and Bungo for those that are interested.
Eita: Innings Pitched: 8.0, Hits Allowed: 4, Earned Runs: 3, Walks: 0, Strikeouts: 9~11 (Only one of his outs was shown from the eighth inning, so at the lowest nine, highest possible is eleven), Home Runs Allowed: 2.
Bungo: Innings Pitched: 7.1, Hits Allowed: 8, Earned Runs: 4, Walks: 1, Strikeouts: 13, Home Runs Allowed: 1.

Aww those panels with bungo and noda. The rivalry's on a new path. I wonder if they'll still stay on the same team in hs?

The whole batting lineup got merked and he only lost when he got switched. If that’s not ACE quality, then the coach is not confident / worried for his body

@PointRight Those stats are very interesting, I'm not going to pretend that I am even close to a expert or even all that knowledgeable about Baseball but Bungo seems to me at least to be the better pitcher. Please do correct me if I am wrong.

@PointRight @Rune_Storm19 The important thing to note about those stats is the disparity between teams. Bungo is pitching to the A team while Eita is pitching to the backups. Now, the backups aren't scrubs, they're on a fantastic team. But Bungo pitching those stats against a team that can honestly make the run all the way to Koshien makes him the clear and obvious choice for Ace.

I can imagine some bullshit like he strained himself too much in the practice game so he's not allowed to be ace in fear of injuring himself.

After all this good performance
Bungo still didn't get his ace number. F the coach man.. risking his team member for sake of his entertainment...
