the whole point is changing the viewpoint of the gatekeepers toward the revolutionaries (who don't believe that murder is a solution), it would be really weird for Joy to go and just kill Stanley regardless of what he did lol

edit: Also she says like in the next chapter that she already accepted that her father was already probably dead and that Stanley killed him because of the Law
