This plot could be salvaged if he got divine punishment from a goddess or something.

Ok, he is powerful. But we can compare MC to a stereotypical rich villain, as MC is an unscrupulus sleazy character who uses money (his overwealming power) to get the girl(s).

@firosahoge What adventures? To be fair I stopped "reading" this around chapter 5 and just resorted to flipping through the pages to see if any adventuring happened, but only then two fights, I don't remember seeing any. Was there anything major other than the skeleton going on?
