Honest to god this reminds me of a late 20 something version of Beck, which is nice. I'm trying to think of a playlist to create for listening in the background while reading this so if there's any suggestions i'm more than happy to aggregate.
Personally I get a Shinichi Osawa / Mondo Grosso vibe from this but would it be more accurate to say that the music they create is closer to something like synth pop or what Passion Pit creates?

Id like to think its more lofi/chill thats gaining more and more popularity now as a healing music that alot of college aged students listen to now.

@azuremirage There's actually an official playlist on Spotify that the author runs of stuff he listens to while working. It might not be quite the same but it's a start; just search for Buzzy Noise and it'll come up. That said I personally imagine something like indie idol group SAKA-SAMA. They're even billed as a lo-fi dream pop idol act though in reality their music incorporates a lot of different stuff from synth pop to even some breakbeat. Just to give two examples.
