Okay, I can’t tell if the mom is a kinda bad parent, bad parent, or straight up terrible parent. I mean she’s not physically abusing him, so I guess she’s not the worst, but she doesn’t seem to care about doing particularly well to provide for him or otherwise give him a fulfilling childhood, and is apparently using him as an excuse to not go to work. Honestly, I don’t mind her being a prostitute, hostess, or whatever, but she just doesn’t seem to care much about being his mom besides the bare minimum. Also that school girl in the beginning was just mean and a bully. Since when was being poor a disease? Can’t even spare him a good morning. Her friend should have IMMEDIATELY told her off and stopped hanging out with her. She doesn’t even have the excuse of being swept up by the classroom mob or going along with others bullying to save herself; she was just mean for no reason.
