If it's internal bleeding filling up the body and crushing the organs, then wouldn't cutting open a slit in the stomach or side to drain the blood and relieve pressure at the very least by more time if not save sensei?

I had been assuming that this whole time, I have no idea why none of the characters thought of that. While the organ damage would be hard to heal presumably, the ticking time bomb of her dying from internal bleeding is pretty stupid, as there is a pretty simple solution. They even have someone who could stitch the wound shut (the trap) and have plenty of clothes for bandages. Something similar is done for internal bleeding in the brain for the same reason.
