Can Filters/Blacklist affect ''New Titles'' as well?

Hi,

Fitler/Blacklist is one of the best features this site has, and it has led me to discover new stuff, as i can now browse freely without being bombarded with stuff i hate...

however i noticed it doesn't affect ''New titles'' at the bottom of the page. Can the filters affect them as well?
