For the ones that have an END chapter in it. The completed filter there still shows non completed/fully translated mangas, or atleast in my language. If there's one already can you please tell me where it is?

@Dlroth I think you might have mistaken the Publication status filter in Search? As its name implies, it is the status in the original country, whether the series is still ongoing or finished or hiatus etc. NOT the translation status. Translation status filter has been rejected.

Nope, and reasons include
1. having an END chapter doesn't automatically imply the manga is complete
2. complete in which language(s)?
3. search implementation would be a bit of a nightmare with our current codebase
plus some other more minor things

Yeah I've been expecting it to be more or less a techincal issue. Bit of a shame though like, a lot of readers only read completed ones and too bad we can't really filter it. Though my suggestion is that you do it but for english translation only, because I'm guessing majority of the readers in here are english readers, right?

And I think having an END chapter indicates that the story is more or less completed, the one that some readers want because they really can't stand the wait for the chapters every week that has a potential of translators dropping it.

We're not going to make a feature that caters to a specific language only, end of discussion there. If we were, I'd make it apply to Finnish only just to spite people.

I could imagine this could be maintained as a curated list in v5, maybe, but overall this is definitely not a thought-out suggestion and I've rejected it numerous times for a reason. You do realize that if the END chapter was the only necessary component, trolls would have even more incentive to release the final chapters of every series where the scanlation lags behind.

"Then check that there's no gaps also," you might protest. Not only may a series have legitimate gaps, that just gets even more complicated to account for, and we'd have to start implementing features that we're explicitly planning for v5 because they were too big to start retrofitting into the current site.

Bit of a late reply because it didn't notify for me, but i get it now. I guess really everyone can post chapters in this site. Still hoping that you can find a way though, it would be really helpful to us because it's really hard to find some fully translated books in here.

@Dlroth Not hard at all, just search for top rating or follows and the stuff that hasn't been updated any time recently is likely also a series that's been completed. If you look for anything by most recent updates, you'll never find anything that's completed
