Can You Become A Magical Girl? - Vol. 2 Ch. 23 - FINALE

That's a wrap for this series! Thanks for reading the series thus far and I hope my translations and editing came out hopefully good enough. And a huge a shoutout to the mangaka and crew, this was actually a pretty engaging project to work on and also to the patron who requested this be done! 😀

Well then, on the next series~!

Im sad that the series is cut short, but im glad that at least it went out on high note.

Goodness, even though this series had to be axed, it... was written in such a way it felt contained. In just TWO volumes. To be honest, as a writer, I'm extremely impressed. It's one thing to be able to have brevity and stay on message, it's another thing to be able to do so on a dime like this.

The mangaka is also an incredible talent and she deserves our full support in future too. I'm walking away from this one happier than I thought I'd be even though I think this story deserves at least five or six volumes.

We need to keep an eye on both of them in future.

@MidnighTea I think the mangaka disappeared after finishing this series. No updates to their twitter or Pixiv accounts ever since this series was finished.

@NamelessGent
Oof. That sucks. Hopefully all is well with them. Taking a vacation, I hope.

This was a great series. I'm happy that it got made and translated.

@NamelessGent Actually, she came back long enough to like my tweets praising her after a Japanese-speaking friend chose to nudge her. Most of what I said is stuff we've said before about this manga so in the end our feelings got through.

@MidnighTea I guess she is laying low for whatever reason. Shame too since she has a bunch of cute Idolmaster works on her Pixiv account.

This was a good series. The art wasn't amazing, but I liked the overarching theme. Sometimes a villain just needs someone to talk to and to comfort them to get them on the right path, not a fight.

I like this series, until the introduction of those other magical girls.....but, it was still a good concept with a kind granny being the definition of what "Mahou Shoujo" was supposed to be like before the age of "Combat Mahou Shoujo" arrive.

A shame to see this story go, but what we got was...satisfactory.

A really wholesome and adorable premise, and I wish we could see concepts tackled this way more.
