Candy & Cigarettes

story is decent, the only thing that made me uncomfortable only the 5th grader sexualisation.
ps: why the author referencing lolita, lol (hope the author not lolicon or something)

@ch0si well she likes classic book and movie it seems and Lolita is a pretty well known book, in fact I believe the word lolita and lolicon also based on that book mmm...

@vaxw yes, it's well known book. though the author referencing the movie, which is different adaptation in it's own way. because the movie made dolores aka lolita more seductive and teasing (i know it's humbert POV) while in books it's handled differently. And somehow i can see similarity between the movie and this manga to handle this underage character which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable

I'm not a lolicon, and really do dislike the idea of Lolita, but damn this manga have a good concept. I do like older man as MC.

That girl should have been, maybe young adult, 18+ for the sake of morality.

@Damoon

Morality in a manga about assassinations?
Plus it's all fiction so who cares how the characters are portrayed.

This somehow reminds me of Young Gun Carnaval just not as dark or is this maybe darker?

@ghostkun they are.
But you know, even if they're in a country were guns are banned, that doesn't stop mafias from getting guns.

Take the example of France into consideration.

Also, that's a really great manga with lot of potential.
Even if it's clearly low-budget, the story telling is of high quality.

A great manga, quite like the premiss and the characters.

pretty cool manga with catchy premise/characters. All is need now somewhat more originality and do not get axed! Really interest how whole community reacts when this get adapts ? (hopefully!)

Man, best manga I randomly stumbled upon through randomizing the numbers. 10/10

@jackslate Highly likely because it is a joint scanlation
(we in music business would call it a "split" issue as when two groups make a record together)
