Can't connect without VPN

For some reason I can't connect to mangadex from my regular IP address, but can connect just fine via VPN. Is this an error on my end? I've done everything possible to clear my browser data and refresh my IP and reset dns cache. What am I doing wrong?

You probably refreshed pages too often and it gave you a temporary ban on your IP, which is done to prevent bots I think. The ban lasts ~1 hour if I recall correctly.
