I don't dislike the story up till now, but seeing this album made me think it would have been nice if the author had done a more personal SoL instead of having so much focus on gags and the cafe dynamics. These little scenes in the album are like the short arc about taking care of the kittens, and it's the kind of Yuki content I keep hoping for.

Yuki's mom appearance here a problem of continuity ? I mean, didn't she appear in the latest chapter and all the main cast is surprised to know she is her mom ?

Yuki's mom has shorter hair now, which is enough to throw the other girls off. Sort of like how no one recognizes Superman is just Clark Kent without the glasses.
