So far, this is really great! If the lead says "shit" in the first few pages you know they're in a situation that they tried their best to avoid because of something stupid. As well, that shitty brother loves that girl more than the love and safety of his family.

You know it would totally make sense that the og author would vilify someone who tried to take down the shitty nobility and romanticize the imperial assholes. I mean you just have to look af Beatrice and its fanbase to know audiences and writers love slave owning child killing nobles and fall over themselves trying to defend them. Korean novels tend to have this problem of showing slavers dictator tards as the good guys and if you complain people wank them by saying "hurr durr different times so child rape and enslavement is totally okay. No I'm gonna fap as the ML decapitates a child for looking at him wrong. I wish he impregnated me"

So if the supposed villian is only a villain for trying to bring them down then I say good for him. Eat the nobles

So I hope he isnt "actaully" a killer villian

Interesting! Not super different, but it has a really solid premise that doesn't take forever to explain and doesn't get glossed over either. Plus, the story has very specific stakes, and not just...death for no reason. I look forward to seeing the evil prince, he seems like he'll be an enjoyable character.
