Denji is now Doom Guy.
But honestly, this not a good twist. The only thing we knew about Denji prior to this is "all the demons hear the sound of the chainsaw" or some shit like that. But now his power is "to ignore causality and delete a word's avatar (aka demon) and with it the very concept of the word"?
There is no way anyone would get that prior to this chapter. This is literally a new info.

If that’s true he can’t eat her because the world would possibly turn into chaos because their will be no control anymore? The world could descend into madness ? I mean even a sense of free will has a sense of control because we control what we do ......Still I wonder if it only works if he eats them all or completely?

Ah yes. The good old Fujimoto Maneuver, pulling stuff out of nowhere with literally no build-up. No hints. Literally nothing. I love his world building. But his writing is a convulsing hot mess.
How does "hacking demons to pieces with chainsaw" have anything to do with "erasing literal concepts of things out of existence"? So he is a god now? That's just so busted, and kinda kills the "physical, raw and brutal" feeling of this manga. I much prefer him to be a demonic Doom Slayer without this "reality altering" stuff.
Hope this doesn't end up being Fire Punch 2.0

Depends on how you look at it. I'd argue that free will never existed to begin with. Your thoughts and actions are ultimately decided by your emotions, desires, and sensations which you don't get to choose. They're just pre-programmed into you by evolution. Really every thought you have and every choice you think you make are akin to a series of dominoes falling over.
But setting that aside, it's not as though humans will be wearing shock collars that zap them every time they think of doing something evil. The evil ideas will never even occur to them. In fact, considering that he seems to be able to erase the past as well as the future, humanity's capacity to do evil would never have existed in the first place. She's not forcing people's hands, but altering their nature, which is something that's always been happening as a result of evolution. It's the difference between being doing a task because you've been enslaved, and doing a task because you want to. Whether you consider that still a violation of free will is a matter of personal definition.
The potential scope of human action will be reduced, but you could argue that because evil actions often violate the freedom of others, her plan would actually result in a net gain of free will for humanity. For example, slavery would never have existed nor exist again. Removing diseases like aids would also give people extended lives to further exercise their free will.
I don't believe that Makima is solely seeking power, simply from past experience with the author. Usually likes to give his characters more interesting motivations. My prediction is the series will climax with her attempting to use Denji to kill the death devil and the potential fallout from that. But I could be completely off because this author is one of the few I find genuinely unpredictable.

I'd actually love for this to be a Fire Punch 2.0. That series was a real breath of fresh air after reading so much of the same stuff over and over. Authors willing to take narrative risks and not just give the audience what they want are few and far between. If I wanted to read something more standard there are a million other places I could go. I'd take something flawed, but ambitious over something solid, but safe any day.

@Turkeyjerkey Fire Punch is very very interesting, but it's not good. I would recommend it to people because of how unique its is, but its not actually a good manga. It seems that this author is good at making interesting stories but not at making good ones.
Oh shit. I hope old man Kishibe doesn't die, he's the coolest looking character in the story.
Also, makima is literally a dominatrix, only being able to dom people who want to be domed. Guess the author has his kinks.
I wonder if eternity was one of the "four fates" that Makima mentioned. I mean, it's not impossible that multiple of those could happen at the same time, right? For example when humans die they are dead, but they might also go to heaven or hell, and that lasts an eternity... or not. Maybe eternity and heaven got the chainsaw already, and hell is next. I guess Nirvana could have also been one, if we stick with religious themes? Did the concept of nirvana ever get mentioned during the series?

Fire Punch was great, but it was flawed. And now I'm seeing the same flaws here, so I'm not exactly happy about it.
