Chapter availability bug

Was reading this title, which at least for me, does not display chapters 2-6 in the main title page. However when going into the reader, these chapters are selectable in the chapter dropdown. Selecting one results in the following message:

An example page that displays this message for me: chapter 2

Change your user settings to display all chapters and you'll see the missing chapters on the main title page. Also they were most likely taken down due to the group requesting them or some other reason. They're still archived on MD in case the group ever decides to change their policy or they die the mods can just flip the switch and they'll be available without having to dig (reupload) for them. So just because you can select them doesn't mean they'll be available.

Thanks for the clarification. Still, the issue has very little to do with why the chapters are not visible on the main page by default.

I'd consider the main issue here that unavailable chapters are selectable in the reader chapter dropdown at all, and furthermore are not even designated as unavailable in any way. They are also not skipped when automatically switching chapters and the error message does very little to explain things. If I read the first page of the title mentioned in the OP and browse through to the next one, I'm automatically taken to the unavailable chapter 2. Entering the unavailable chapter also disasbles the reader navigation menu so I cannot switch chapters without going back manually first.

That's weird they don't show up for me either even though I have the setting enabled and it auto skips the unavailable chapters perhaps it's an isolated issue
or maybe it has something to do with what AbyssalMonkey said.

@AttK0 Do you have the option "Show unavailable chapters" ON/Show? That's pretty much the only reason I could think of because when I viewed the title you provided, I didn't see unavailable chapters from 2-6 nor could select them from the drop-down menu.

Edit: forgot to say that even clicking the end of the chapter doesn't go into chapter 2. Or maybe you were using legacy reader? I could be wrong but I remember reading some where that sometimes legacy readers get unexpected bugs

Ah my bad, I'm indeed using the legacy reader and had totally forgotten about there being a newer one. No issues on the default one. I'm assuming there will likely be no fix for this then?

Sorry for the false alarm!
