@Barajou I think she doesn't use her mana because a) after the spell to die most of it was gone and b) using mana would be like a beacon for her disciples to find her though they're slowly finding her anyway.

I'm still cracking up over the "romance" tag. The MC most certainly does not try to live for "love" this time around, but to clean the mess of her disciples. This has been nothing but explosions and blood, with the occasional fawning male thrown about.
Not that I mind explosions, it's just very characteristic of this author. Everything devolves into action sequences.
