Wait, if your beast appearance is due to a curse, how can simply removing the hair be enough? Shouldn't the curse just make the hair grow back again? I guess because those hair removal methods weren't invented yet, they likely never thought it was possible to completely shave the hair off.

Still, this kind of makes the curse just be a minor inconvenience at best to the isekai protag.

Also, it seems clear what Ariel is planning. She wants to utterly ruin you because she's the villain of this story. Not sure why, though. Politically, you're beneath her, as she's the first princess and you're only the daughter of a consort. Hardly seems like you pose a political threat to her, so why should she bother? Unless there's more to it than meets the eye.

@omegaxis1 They did mention that as a child she used to be so cute that everyone around her admired her. So maybe turning her into a furry monster was just jealousy, I don't know.

I think the curse was just making the hair on her body grow ... and it was clear that they didn't know what “wax” is, so that the maid asks why she wants the sugar and what magic was that... remember girls, waxing is something of our time
