@Psychronia i wonder as well, her boss did mention that su luxia originally was a cannon fodder character in her original world/universe but there weren't any details of how she got "hired" so to speak. i wonder if this story will ever broach this subject, or if that's something the main story will cover eventually?

my theory/HC/guess is that su luxia had a slight character drift from her cannon fodder role or personality that the FL counterattack system noticed, thus prompting them to hire her as an intern. but that's just my guess anyhow
