Story quality is steadily going down since the first chapter. The interrogator is so naive and foolish; it feels like MC is trying to trick a kid. Suspension of disbelief is broken because these guys are not looking like vampire hunters at all.
Also, vampire hunters' nature is the same as witch hunters. Mean, you can't just walk into the prison and leave alive after being called "fiance" by a vampire. Hunters will torture anyone to death for being even slightly related to a vampire.

Only in the case of vampire hunters being a formal structure that consists of boy-toys. Like...a popular club among noble scions. They capture random girls to accuse them of being vampires, torture and share them, and bond with each other. Club of noble perverts.
But in the case of vampire hunters being a real structure (the same as its historical analogs like witch hunters, crusaders, KKK), it's impossible to change their beliefs. Sure, you can buy them with gold, but you can't seal their mouths. Soon enough you will run out of money no matter how noble you are. And because they are fanatics, even noblest of nobles will think twice before playing with fire. Other nobles will gladly sell you out when vampire hunters will knock your door. Even the king can't easily command the hunters, depending on their influence. Because vampires, unlike witches, are very substantial. I bet vampire hunters' guild or whatever should be immeasurably powerful and very fanatical.
