Not sure that Wei is a cheating bastard in full. It sounds like he was absolutely devoted to the dead girl, but kinda lost his way after that and just started fucking around. Given what they've said about him, if she were still alive i think he'd absolutely still be with her.
@nobaka : White Moonlight girl's still alive, a couple chapters back Su Luxia said she wouldn't let her bestie die in a plane accident...guessing she convinced her to take an alternative flight.
@Meo
I'm pretty sure she died before Agent Su took over the host. Two years ago, I think. Otherwise she'd have no reason to fuck over a girl who had not only done nothing wrong, but was also the host's best friend
also i have no clue, this arc is annoying to keep track of, particularly which mom is which
wei is sometimes fucking bei ting but being a bitch about it
liang is no longer fucking bei ting
liang is in deep shit with in-laws and his own family
su baiting the fuck out of liang
wei's mom and liang's mom both think bei ting is a piece of shit
just give me back my goddamn courtesan su, best su
@nobaka : Yeah, the in-laws, gossip elderly ladies are hard to keep track of.
I also don't quite understand her revenge this time around...on one hand she wants a divorce but she's working pretty hard to make the husband like her. Is her revenge to make him divorce her and regret it when Bai Ting ditches him for being broke (or steals all the money and runs away)?
What about the revenge on the mother-in-law? I guess leaving her broke is enough??
Wei and the best friend never got together, right? It's a one-sided crush?
@Meo
she's making her husband want to come back to her to:
a) fuck over bei-ting
b) fuck over her husband when he divorces her, leaving him alone since he already fucked over bei-ting
my understanding was that in the INITIAL drama setting, wei was supposed to get involved with white flower and then she dies, but who knows what's going on now
for the mother-in-law, leaving her broke is plenty because in this setting, money is essentially everything. if you have no money, your house (and by extension, you and any children you have) is essentially worthless, and unless you can get your hooks in someone like wei-ting, there's no way out.
