Cheating Men Must Die - Vol. 9 Ch. 178 - A literary giant’s huge fall -- Staging a comeback

While I think the concept for this arc is pretty cool, is it even possible to remember so many books from your past life unless you have photographic memory? I have trouble recalling all the details even for books I read a month back, so I find it a little tough to believe.
It could be that the transmigrator has photo-memory and it just hasn't been mentioned, or will be in the later chapters, but right now I find it unlikely since she had to make some effort to recall the work for the competition.

Again, I'm not haring on the arc, just musing on the plausibility of the theme.

Su Luxia straight up seducing a naive gal.

Heh. Yea, this is basically how the internet hatedoms work. I'm surprised just that much was able to shut them down.

In the end, this bitch gets to fall back on time and her stockpile of stories, since she technically gained it all from nothing on transmigration, huh?
Well, giving Luxia time to ruin you is an unfortunate but understandable mistake. Wonder if she can contact other authors as well...

Saw a post on reddit that had Su Luxia as “bold of you to assume I’m straight” and I must say that I agree lol. Su Luxia has the big gay.

@TitanX21 Someone with hyperthymesia wouldn't break a sweat recalling it. There's videos of people with hyperthymesia being asked a random date and the weather of it with 100% accuracy in their recall when matched to records. It's very rare, but it exists.

Our rival very likely does not have that though lol.

Question. If you had a great memory, and found out you soon would be transported 15 years into the past (no smartphones, have fun), would you A. Read a bunch of famous books so you can rewrite them yourself for fame and fortune, or B. Invest in Google, Apple, SpaceX, Netflix, etc. and then with that wealth, be the primary investor for Instagram and make even more money?

@TitanX21 I think someone mentioned it in a previous chapter, but I think it's supposed to be a reflection on this arc's original work's lazy or poor writing/plot holes. This series always showcases and/or does little digs at badly written stories, so I think her memory is another example of that!

Since there are a good amount of stories both good and bad where the mc somehow remembers every detail of their favorite book/series/game just because they read/played it so much. heck, most isekai have their mc remember a lot more plot points than any normal person would lol

@spicypepperpasta
neither. I would ace school and not make the same mistakes I did in the past and idk maybe become a academic genius with knowledge from this timeline and the next! ha

i feel like doing A would be to mean, and for B, most rich people suck
and i don't want to suck

The antagonist in this arc is so dumb, she keep plagiarising and picking fights she loses when she could just retire with all her already established money.

@spicypepperpasta probably neither. Like if I was to teleport 15 years in the past I would be only in elementary school. So probably just do really well in school and save lots of money. And since I would be doing well in school I would live a less stressful life.

Does anyone else miss when this series was still about punishing cheating men lol....
The last couple of arcs have been kinda boring imo, i really cant get invested in the characters

The last arc about visiting luxias son was ok, but the ghost one and this one are pretty boring in comparison to the earlier ones

@beansbunko yeah agree but honestly this one is the worst so far. makes zero sense and the villain is just dumb
hopefully next one will be better

still thanks for translating to the translators!
