Chi no Wadachi - Vol. 10 Ch. 83 - Exit

I feel so bad for the dad in all of this...

I agree with most of the ppl commenting he is kind of trying to dodge the issue, but he is a child so I can understand where he is coming from.

Overcompensating with his relationship with the girl. He should hold on to his dad and try to work through his issues instead of running away.

I can understand his wish of not wanting to have contact with her ever again, but unfortunately i'm afraid of 2 things: 1, there's a high chance he'll carry this on the back of his head for the rest of his life if he doesn't settle things right, and 2, that he is overcompensating with this relationship way too much. The girl probably need to work through her issues in a similar way, too, before charging blindly into a relationship like that.

But like i said, his reaction is very plausible and understandable, just not one that'll likely resolve all of his problems in the long run.

To move or not to move. If he moves far away, bulli will cease. BUT he can't see qt mommy problem gf. Quite the quandary.

I legitimately feel terrible for the father. I understood him saying he wanted nothing to do with his mom, but calling out the dad, saying the moment he gets the chance he's getting away from him too. That seemed like an unnecessary swipe. The dad's entire world was flipped-turned upside down. Dude just wanted to grow old with his family, but learned his wife is a psychopath, and now his son doesn't particularly care to stay with him.

I hope the dad doesn't off himself, because that's where I feel like that's heading. Meanwhile hero boy over here is going through puberty with a girl who seems as messed up as he is.

Haaa... I want to understand/sympathize his father knowing that he probably had issues to or he yad to focus on work hard to provide or something... But it's hard to do.

Ominous future incoming.

I feel bad for the Father. He just wants to keep shit together but his whole life is now a solar system of crazy; just a bunch of pieces spinning wildly out of control.

I kinda sense that the story will reveal itself to be a vicious cycle. There might be a reveal about the father and the mother being just like Seiichi and Fukiishi back in the day.

at leas the boy finally made his mind

which of course always going well since he's a teenagers right?
